Filed under: church, God, grateful, Life

Today is Maudy Thursday and will be observed with communion and stripping of the church till all is left in darkness, even the Christ candle.  We will leave in silence.  I have a hard time not crying every year at this service.  That God should love us so much that His son died an awful death for us.

Last night, on Spy Wednesday or betrayal day, the choir sang two selections at the AME Zion church.  I was happy to see that more of church who tries members were present than were the AME folks.  As is the case, it started about 10 minutes late, but lasted until 8:30.  Ended with lots of hugs and God bless you.

Grateful for:

  1. Bradford pears in full bloom
  2. Azaleas starting to pot open
  3. Kindermusic and watching HWS dance
  4. Carolina in NCAA tourney
  5. March madness and Easter all on the same weekend
