Whew, the storm Friday afternoon into Saturday morning was “something else”.  The rain quit before time for DIL’s baby shower, but the wind was still blowing about 30-40 knots.  My granddaughter to be, who is named for a grandmother, great-grandmother, great, great grandmother and great Aunt received some beautiful and practical gifts.  We had some great food and good laughs.

Bible study is over and was delighted to head back to ole church across the bridge for the contemporary service and the practice.  It was so good to sing praise and worship songs, some slow but most up tempo.  In fact one was so up tempo, it was hard to get all the words out in the correct timing.  “Voice of Truth” maybe you know it.

Grateful for:

  1. Seder service presented by Bob, who is a Jew for Jesus
  2. HWS running to give Grandma a hug
  3. My parents recovering from the flu
  4. contemporary service
  5. dinner after at No-Name with the worship team
